It’s the new year and now is the best time for a “new year new me” checklist full of all your resolutions for 2019. These goals and resolutions don’t have to be difficult to make, you just need some tips to help you prepare.
Tip #1
The first thing you want to do when making a list of resolutions is to keep them short. Have you ever made a very long to-do list that leaves you feeling stressed out? Sticking to a short list of New Years resolutions will allow you to seamlessly achieve your goals without feeling overwhelmed.
Tip #2
Next, try to make realistic resolutions. Instead of making resolutions such as, “I will become a millionaire by the end of this year”, aim for something like, “I will have $1000 saved up by the end of the year”. There’s nothing worse than feeling like your goals are impossible to reach because they are unrealistic.
Tip #3
Finally, when making a list of new years resolutions, give yourself a deadline on achieving them that you are comfortable with. When you sit down and plan these resolutions, you should assess some factors that will go into your resolutions such as cost, the time it would take to complete the deadline, and pros and cons of the resolution itself. When you have figured all of those out, then you can make an attainable deadline that won’t leave you stressed out or defeated.
